History

The GSI / PR, in the D.O.U. of June 30th , 2003 , expedited the executive order to create the Working Group responsible for determining the various aspects related with the installation and operation of a Computer Emergency Center.

Initiating its activities on June 11th 2003, this Group issued a Report explaining the relevance of the Center and the technical aspects of how to conduct its work. Emphasizing that the Center should permanently provide support to federal networks, the report also pointed out the relevance of good coordination and articulation during the incident response life cycle.
